Press-conference is one of the most essential instruments of PR. On the one hand, press-conference pursues merely PR aims, on the other hand it is a correctly organized and staged action, where everything must be exactly coordinated: from sending announcements and invitations to the representatives of MCM (Mass Communication Means) to moderation and organization of small parties.
Press- conferences are organized to give MCM problematic information that needs solving or commenting. A distinctive feature of such action is a possibility of receiving information at first hand, checking up information and clarifying versions with the help of questions.
